Harry Skirrow, the one-armed and fearless Harry Skirrow, who drove with a hook in place of one hand, who produced the four-wheel-drive 80hp JAP engined car, announced in Autocar for 1st January 1937.
Skirrows today seem very thin on the ground, although Bill Reynolds, a noted exponent of the day and British Champion with a late-model Skirrow in 1938, put production at 50 to 100.
